Netrani — The Heart of the Deep Blue

Netrani Island (also known as Pigeon Island) is a heart-shaped, uninhabited volcanic island situated 19 km off the coast of Murudeshwar in Karnataka. Characterized by steep, rugged basalt cliffs rising from the ocean, it has no beaches or human residents.

However, beneath its surface lies the most vibrant marine sanctuary in mainland India, featuring coral reefs, underwater caves, and rich biodiversity that makes it a premier destination for scuba divers.

Kya swimming aana zaroori hai scuba diving karne ke liye? +
No. Non-swimmers can do 'Discover Scuba Diving' (DSD), where a certified PADI instructor holds you throughout the dive. Swimming is only mandatory for enrolling in professional open-water certification courses.
