Kazinag National Park in Baramulla district of Jammu & Kashmir is a high-altitude sanctuary along the Line of Control created to protect the endangered Markhor wild goat (*Capra falconeri*) and Himalayan Musk Deer.
Notified in 2007 by amalgamating Limber and Lachipora Wildlife Sanctuaries with the Naganari conservation reserve, Kazinag spans 160 sq km of deodar, pine, and birch forests flanking steep mountain cliffs.
